DeVry’s Department of Engineering and Information Sciences offers a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Web Game Programming. This is a full-time program, taken over eight semesters. Students can choose to attend classes on campus, in a combination of online and in-class sessions or through DeVry’s distance learning option.

DeVry also offers a Bachelor’s degree program in Game and Simulation Programming. It includes courses in coding languages and visual design. Students who choose this major also learn about software used for video game development, as well as the specialized ones used in crime scene reconstruction and corporate training purposes. Applicants to DeVry University must be at least 17 years of age by the day classes begin. A high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) or a degree granted by a post-secondary educational institution are also required. An official transcript must be forwarded to DeVry before the end of the first semester. A basic proficiency skills test must be written by all applicants to ensure that they are place in the appropriate courses.
